Prepare Your Car with New Tires

hydroplaning carsWinter is here and it’s time to make sure that the Tires  that we have on our vehicles have the traction necessary to keep us safe on the road. Don’t let your tires fool you, they may have enough tread left, but the tread could be crystalized causing the tires to loose traction on wet pavement.

There’s nothing scarier than passing a semi only to have your vehicle hydroplane and go sideways during rain. It happened to me. Fortunately, I let off the gas slightly and then proceeded to accelerate. I’m lucky that I didn’t meet anyone in the oncoming traffic lane.

Special Offers: Save on quality tires with these manufacturer’s promotions from Tire Rack.

Other problems with tires can be belts separating from hitting curbs to hard, or from tires sitting to long without use. Yes, simply letting your car sit in the same spot is extremely hard on tires.

Unfortunately, with Christmas, tires often get put on the table and are not done until it’s too late. You don’t want to be stuck with a blowout on your car so getting tires now is the proper and safe thing to do. Don’t risk your life if you need new tires on your car.

Right now, one of my favorite places to be tires, Tire Rack, is having a sale on tires. You can get special deals by ordering the tires direct. They will deliver to an authorized installer that can put your new tires on your car.

With so many authorized installation experts, there really is no reason to pay more at Sears or Goodyear. Just order from Tire Rack and get a super deal on your next set of tires.
